Ozurumba has about eleven years of working experience spanning the areas of Audit and Financial Advisory services, Corporate Finance and Privatization as well as Venture Capital and Private Equity investing.

He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Nextzon Ventures and Business Incubator, which executes corporate venturing opportunities and undertakes business incubation for young viable businesses. In particular, he has been very active in advising core investors in Nigeria's Privatization program, and worked with one of the Government owned Telecom companies to prepare their five year business plan in preparation for privatization.In the area of business incubation, Ozurumba has championed the incubation of at least five different enterprises in business segments ranging from epayments, logistics to manufacturing.

Before joining NEXTZON, he worked in HEIRS Alliance Group as General Manager, HEIRS Capital Limited. HEIRS Capital Limited was the manager of the SME funds for a group comprising inter-alia two medium-large size banks in Nigeria . Before HEIRS Alliance Ozurumba worked with the African Capital Alliance group (Nigeria's premier Private Equity and Venture Capital group) in their SME Investing arm, SME Manager Limited, where he was specifically involved in investments in the areas of Healthcare, Cash Management, Manufacturing and Real Estate.

Prior to joining African Capital Alliance, he had variously spent a period of six months with First Atlantic Bank Plc, in their Capital Markets and Corporate Finance group, where he worked as a member of the team of professional advisers to the Bureau for Public Enterprise (BPE) on a number of privatization briefs. He was also in the employ of Arthur Andersen, where he spent about six years in the Audit group with a primary focus on clients in the energy sector of the Nigerian economy.

Ozurumba has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Second Class Upper Division, from the University of Nigeria , Nsukka. He is also a chartered accountant.
