  • Assisting a publicly listed bank in Nigeria in acquiring a banking license in the Republic of The Gambia (2006)
  • Developed a low cost channel strategy for a leading Nigerian mid-sized bank(2006)
  • Assisting a publicly listed Nigerian bank articulate an entry strategy into the banking and finance sector of Liberia, The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Sao Tome and the facilitation of high level Business Missions to business leaders, key industry players, government officials and regulators in these countries (2006)
  • Conducting a Country/Industry study, current position assessment and business due diligence for a publicly listed Nigerian bank in its bid to acquire a publicly listed bank in the Republic of Ghana . (2006)
  • Initiated and set in motion the acquisition of a bank in Ghana for a large publicly quoted company in the banking and financial services industry in Nigeria (2005/2006)
  • Developed and implementing a channel strategy for a mid-size Universal Bank in Nigeria.(2006)
  • Strategy development for the leading West African Bank (2006)
  • Facilitated the development of a “model blue-ocean” strategy plan for the new look First City Monument Bank Plc (FCMB, NAMBL & CDB banks), which is geared towards repositioning the bank to a leadership position in the sub-regional banking landscape by 2010. (2005)
  • Corporate and subsidiary strategy development for the United Bank for Africa/Standard Trust Bank merged entity (March 2005)
  • Operational integration of two mid-large size Nigerian banks (2005)
  • Provided Advisory services and strategy development to one of the top five banks in Nigeria in proposed merger/acquisition of a leading investment banking firm in Nigeria (2004)
  • Developed strategic business architecture to assist one of the largest banks in Nigeria in expanding its clientele base by winning some large corporate operators including Nigerian Breweries Plc and United African Company Nigeria Plc (UACN) and Mr. Biggs (2003)
  • Assisted Continental Trust Bank in driving a budgeting process whilst also carrying out a diagnostic review of the bank over a period of six months (2003)
  • Actively participated in the successful execution of marketing and communication strategy for an Initial Public Offering for one of the largest banks in Nigeria (2003-2004)
  • Assisted one of the top five banks in Nigeria in evolving effective strategies for its Corporate and Investment Banking Group, (CIBG) Public Sector Group (PSG) and corporate strategy evaluation (2003/2004)
  • Set up Standard Trust Bank (now United Bank for Africa) Ghana and designed corporate strategy for the new bank (2003/2004)
  • Acted as Co-Lead Financial Advisor in Standard Trust Bank Plc's (now United Bank for Africa Plc) consortium bid for the core investor stake in Afribank Nigeria Plc under the privatisation process of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (2004)
  • Setting the Strategic Direction for and providing advisory services to one of the top five banks in Nigeria as it responds to the ongoing consolidation in the Nigerian banking industry; The project entailed advisory services for planned merger/acquisition; Initial Public Offer and cross border business combination involving one of the largest banks in Africa (2004)
  • Strategic planning session/retreats and documentation for transforming the retail-banking group of one of the top five banks in Nigeria (2004)
  • Key Advisor in a team of Joint Financial Advisers on the Standard Trust Bank Plc Initial Public Offering for the raising of a projected N4 Billion (2002/2003)
  • Transaction Advisor to one of the top five banks in Nigeria in a N4 Billion Project Finance transaction with International Oilfields Services Limited and Suffolk Petroleum Services Limited with expected gross income of approximately USD100million) - Roles included, securitization of sea-going Vessels valued in excess of $18m and execution of due diligence at International Shipping Registries located at Panama, Belize, and New York. Vessels are diving support equipments for performing client's contracts with Shell Petroleum and Exxon-Mobil Producing and registered under Panama, Belize and Liberia flags (1998/2002)
  • Co-Advisor to Standard Trust Bank Plc & IPMAN Petroleum Marketing Company Limited- for acquisition of Unilever properties at Apapa and Raising of N1.42bn through Syndicated Note Issuance for the acquisition of the Unilever facilities in Year 2001

  • Business plan development and set up of an E-payment company-Cash Card Services Ltd (2005/2006)
  • Facilitated board/management retreats and articulated growth and internationalization strategies for Nigeria 's leading computer company, Omatek Computer Nigeria Limited. (2005)
  • Facilitated a management retreat for Microsoft Limited (2005)
  • Articulated strategy, set-up, designed and implemented the organization structure and management processes of an E-business ISO, Paymaster Nigeria Limited. (2005)
  • Design & Development of an Internet Portal & Website, for Transnational Corporation Nigeria Plc (2005)
  • Lead Advisor & Strategic Architect of the E-Government project in Nigeria promoted under a Public-Private Sector Partnership (2004)
  • Effected the rebirth of an ICT company-HEIRS Technologies; a complete review of the organization and its processes and operational merger between IT companies leading to significant improvement in service quality and profitability (2003/2004)
  • Advisor & mandate executor for Leapfrog Venture Partners Limited in the floatation of a $5m equity fund for the establishment of an Institute of Information & Communications Technology and a technology hub in Delta State of Nigeria (Nigeria's equivalent of the “Silicon Valley”) (2002/2003-uncompleted)
 
 

  • Facilitating the acquisition and set up of an insurance company for Oceanic Bank International Plc. (2005/2006)
  • Developed corporate strategy and set-up the bancassurance management system for Law Union and Rock Insurance of Nigeria Plc (2005/2006)Completed acquisition, recapitalization and restructuring of an Insurance company- HEIRS Insurance Company Limited(Now UBA Insurance Limited), on behalf of one of the largest banks in Nigeria (2003/2004)
  • Co-Advisor & joint mandate executor to First Investments Consult Limited (a consortium of banks, Governments, institutional investors and high net worth individuals) in the strategic bid for Bureau of Privatisation of Public Enterprises sale of NICON Insurance Company Limited, the largest Insurance company in Nigeria in Year 2001/2002

  • Co-Advisor and joint mandate executor to Reliance Estates Limited in their bid to acquire Core/Strategic Equity in NIRMSCO PROPERTIES LIMITED (OWNER OF NICON HILTON HOTEL ABUJA) and NIGERIA HOTELS LIMITED (including Caterer's Court) under the on-going privatisation program of the Federal Government of Nigeria (2002-2003)
 
 
  • Automation and Redesigning of the record management systems and processes for the Government of Enugu State Ministry of lands and process re-engineering and training of the workforce in order to establish a professionally run and result oriented establishment. (2005/2006)
  • Developed an organizational model and business plan for a nutraceutical company –Glopatech limited in Nigeria (2005)
  • Developed a 3 year business plan, for the Government owned mobile communications operator “Nigerian Mobile Telecommunications Ltd (MTEL)” as an attractive and profitable venture, in the bid to privatize the company. (2005)
  • Developed corporate strategy and articulated and implemented Group restructuring strategies and management processes for Rosabon Investment Company (2005)
  • Providing advisory services in the ongoing privatization process to AULIC Ltd in its attempt to emerge as the preferred bidder in the concessioning of the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex. (2005/2006)
  • Assisting some banks and non-banks in devising and executing their internationalization strategy (2005/2006)
  • Structured and operated a working capital facility for COCOA Industries Ltd using a creative Joint Venture structure (2005)
  • Deal structuring, Pre-qualification and investment advisory for some investors in the recent VIRGIN Nigeria Airways Private placement. (2005)
  • Provided technical advisory services and assisted Pension & Assets Administration Company Plc in meeting the regulatory requirements for becoming a full fledged Pensions fund administrator (2005)
  • Assisting CTL/TREND TV transit into the digital T.V space. Work included strategy formulation and execution, refining of processes and branding (2005)
  • Providing contract documentation review services/company secretarial management support functions for a few Nigerian companies in areas of accounting and personnel administration (2005)
  • Conducted a seminar on financial management for staff of the American Consulate (2004)
